I have the impression that the designers of this toy are especially committed to achieving a good imitation of tools for adults, without truly exploit the possibilities of creation that offer the tools, the reason being probably that the "customer focused" is the one of the young children (from 3 years). I think it is a shame because this toy could be best to bring in creativity by providing models of mounting using the workbench and tools. Thus, contrary to other comments, I find that the range of tools is well enough supplied, but I'm a little bothered by the fact that the toy does not offer sufficient incentive to the use of tools. But, to temper this negative remarks, I said that pedagogy is a science that I don't know, my reproach so may not be quite relevant, especially as it is a toy that have not necessarily educational purposes.
